Congratulations to our students from the families and community
members who love them most. All messages were pre-screened by
the front office. Most were approved on the first try.
Malcolm — we watched you spend an entire weekend proving your teacher's equation had a second valid solution. You were right. You're always right. Somehow that still makes things harder, not easier. We love you more than you'll ever fully calculate.
— Hal & Lois Wilkerson
Reese — you have surprised every teacher, coach, and food critic who ever underestimated you. Keep cooking. Keep competing. Just please stop putting anonymous notes in the principal's suggestion box. We know it's you. We love you anyway.
— Hal & Lois Wilkerson
Stevie — your quiet determination, your bone-dry humor, and the way you take your time and get it exactly right every time make every room you're in better. The world is lucky to have you in it.
— Abe & Kitty Kenarban
Dewey — keep painting, keep composing, keep being exactly who you are. The east wing will never be the same. (The administration has mixed feelings about that. We do not.)
— Hal & Lois Wilkerson
Victoria — "Every ending is just a new beginning." We believe every word of it. Congratulations, graduate!
— The Adams Family
Francis — from Marlin Academy and back home to North Hollywood Elementary, the long way around. We couldn't be prouder, Frankie.
— Hal & Lois Wilkerson
To the graduating class: you have exceeded my expectations — which were, as always, quite high. Most of you. You know who you are. I expect thank-you notes.
— Mr. Herkabe
Thank you, North Hollywood Elementary faculty and staff, for another year of patience, creativity, and only three calls to the fire department. You make this community shine.
